Children
Children’s Choirs
5:15-6 pm in the Sanctuary basement
Children's Choir has 4 sessions:
Sep 5-Oct 24, Nov 7-Dec 5, Jan 9-Feb 27, Mar 6-May 1
Children's Choir is led by Katherine Crumrine. Children
will learn about music, faith and themselves by making music, singing, playing
instruments and games. Learning will be child-based in an active, nurturing
environment.
Being A Good Neighbor
6:30-7:00 pm in Education Building Room 304
Taught by Emily Heeg, children will learn through reading scripture and children's books about what Jesus taught about being a good neighbor. We will look at the Story of the Good Samaritan as well as children's books such as Who Counts, Be Kind and The Big Umbrella. Each week will also include a fun activity that helps children further understand about being a good neighbor.
Recreation
7:00-7:30 pm on Rice Sports Field
Children will enjoy a time of play, with some organized games and some free play.
Youth
After dinner, the youth will participate in the first part of the Mr. Rogers documentary in Room 302/303. After we watch the first section of the movie, we will meet in Room 304 for a discussion before going outside to the Rice Sports Field until 7:30pm.
