Lent: Preparing the Ground

Riverside's Journey through Lent

  • Holy Week at Home

In preparation for Holy Week, this is a centerpiece and meditation you can create for yourself and your family. Each day there is an activity/response you can do on your own or with your family to retell the story of the last week of Jesus's life. Click here for Holy Week at Home.

  • Stations of the Cross provided by email during Holy Week

The Stations of the Cross are a 14 step devotion that commemorates Jesus' last day on earth as a man. Participants take a mini pilgrimage as the move from station to station recalling and meditating on specific events from Christ's last day. Due to social distancing, RPC will be providing these stations by email daily during Holy Week.

  • Sign up for Weekly Lenten Journaling Prompts

Riverside Presbyterian Church is sending out weekly journaling prompts that will encourage members and friends to consider how they are "preparing the ground" for Jesus' Resurrection. These prompts will begin on Ash Wednesday. If you are interested in receiving these emails please email Emily Heeg.
