Wednesdays Nights for Children and Youth

Children’s Choirs

5:15-6 pm each Wednesday in the Sanctuary basement

Children will learn about music, faith and themselves by making music, singing, playing instruments and games. Learning will be child-based in an active, nurturing environment. Registration needed.

Winter Unit:

Teachers: Claudia Coley and Emily Heeg

Children will be invited to engage in Biblical stories of compassion, and lead loving, grace-filled lives.

After dinner, all youth go to the Youth Building (729 Post St.) for small group time from 6:15(ish) to 7pm.

We spend time each week on a different story in the Bible, or on a specific question.  Then we spend time in discussion and connecting it to our lives. We close with prayer, often sharing our prayer requests with eachother. At 7pm we go outside for optional recreation time until 7:30pm

Wednesday Worship

September 20 and October 18, 6:20-7:00 pm in Sanctuary

Worship is an adventure, one that distinctively shapes the community of faith. We do not control nor can we even fully imagine the Holy God to whom we sing and pray.  Wednesday Worship is our multi-generational adventure in worship, where many voices, instruments and styles blend in a brief service of praise and prayer, Word and ritual.
