  • Jacksonville Gives Thanks to Those Fighting Covid-19

    Live streamed from St. John's Cathedral, May 31st at 5:00 pm

    Lets's join together online to give thanks to the doctors, nurses, fire, police and community health workers who have done their duty and kept Jacksonville's vital emergency public services operational while we stayed home. Learn more here. 

  • RPC Hosting a Drop-off Drive for DESC

    May 11-15 and May 18-22 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in the upper parking lot at RPC. You can drop off gently used clothes, canned foods or make a donation. Click here for more information.

  • United Way: Volunteer Connect

    Volunteer opportunities are starting to be posted on the United Way website. Potential volunteers are encouraged to visit the website and create a volunteer account. Then browse the listings from several agencies and the ways to respond.

  • City Rescue Mission

    City Rescue Mission needs supplies. They are in need of hand sanitizer, isopropyl alcohol, Clorox wipes, Lysol or boxes of tissues. Items can be dropped off at 426 S. McDuff Ave.

  • Meals on Wheels: "month of meals"

    The Meals on Wheels (MOW) program at Riverside Presbyterian Church now has  “a month of delivered meals” available to those homebound folks who live in the 32204, 32205 and 32210 zip code areas. 

    If you know of a neighbor or friend in need of meals, please contact Regina Boone at 904-412-2775 or 904-388-8187.  Donations for the meals would be appreciated as it costs $90 a month to supply these meals.

  • Angelwood: Need Supplies

    • hand sanitizer
    • disinfectant wipes
    • other cleaning supplies

    These supplies are for use in their group homes which are currently closed to all visitations. The suppliers for those products are unable to meet their needs at this time. If you have any extra supplies or have access to them, they would be greatly appreciated.  Please contact 904-288-7259 to schedule a drop off.  And above all else PRAYER!
